The strains contained inVisbiome Vet regular have been selected not only for their specific individual characteristics but also for their synergistic activities. They work together to perform what single strains or other combinations of strains may not do. Visbiome Vet contains the De Simone Formulation, a high potency 8-strain probiotic blend which has been one of the most widely studied probiotic formulations for humans on the market. the product is intended for the dietary management of inflammatory bowel disease. New clinical evidence in canine inflammatory bowel disease has found similar activities of this probiotic blend in domestic dogs.

Visbiome Vet Constipation Care contains an 8-strain blend of bacteria called Slab51.

Visbiome Vet capsules and packets contain milk. Some milk components are used as a fermentation nutrient. Trace amounts of milk protein may be present in the finished product.

Visbiome Vet Constipation Care does not contain milk.

Visbiome Vet is Lactose-Free: Lactose was not detectable in amounts greater than 50 parts per million (PPM).

The capsules that contain Visbiome are made of hydroxypropyl-methylcellulose (HPMC) which is 100% vegetable cellulose.

Visbiome should be stored under refrigeration. Store at (36-46°F, 2-8°C). Do not freeze. Visbiome Vet can be stored at room temperature for up to one week without adversely affecting potency. If you accidentally leave it out of the fridge overnight, your capsules or packets will still be potent and effective. Simply return it to refrigeration as soon as possible.

Visbiome Vet is shipped and stored cold to prevent elevated temperature exposure which could inactivate some of the live bacterial strains. Visbiome Vet is stable at room temperature for up to one week without adversely affecting potency.

Certain strains contained in Visbiome Vet may be inactivated by antibiotics. Do not administer Visbiome Vet within 2-4 hours before or after antibiotic consumption.

Pets may experience transient bloating during the first few days after starting Visbiome Vet as the pet’s intestinal microflora changes. If this occurs, reduce daily consumption to allow for microflora adjustment.

Vomiting may occur, particularly in chronic enteropathies as the normal state of such animals is dysbiosis. If vomiting occurs, reduce the dose for several days and resume once vomiting subsides. We recommend you consult with your veterinarian.
